My LG G2 started prompting me for a new software update two (2) days ago but I just made the update now. I thought this just a minor software update on the its stock JellyBean version but after checking the software version, it says that I already have Android KitKat 4.4.2 installed.

I'm not quite sure what's new with this update except that I noticed that knock-on feature responds faster, opening apps is quicker and font are now in white color. Fortunately LG released an official video that compares KitKat and JellyBean. Watch it below.

If your planning to update your LG G2, I suggest to connect over a stable internet connection because the update size is pretty big (around 200MB if I remember it correctly).

App Review: Mechanic Finder - Find mechanics near you

Mechanic Finder is first a web app then it has native app available in Google Play. For the purpose of this review, I'll use the web app version of the app. When you go to www.mechanicfinder.ph, you'll have a straight forward home menu.

The home screen

At the home screen, you will be able to access four (4) major functions: Find mechanics based on your location, browse the mechanic directory, suggest a mechanic and get the list of available emergency numbers (in the philippines).
