If you don't use hibernate mode then this trick is for you. Do you know that you can free up 4GB disk space just by disabling hibernation feature? hiberfil.sys file is used by Windows to store the current state (memory) of the computer. It's a Windows protected file so you can't delete it. The file resides at your root directory, usually on C:\, which you can usually see if the "Hide protected operating system files" is enabled from Tools>Folder Options in Windows Explorer. You can disable (and Delete hiberfil.sys) by following these steps.

1. Right-click command prompt from Start menu and choose "Run as administrator".
2. From the command prompt, type the following (w/o the qoutes)
"powercfg -h off"
