Send Outlook Email With Up to 100MB Attachment With Drop.io Plugin

Typical emails have a limited allowable size of attachment (5-10 MB). This is a problem if you want to send larger files. But with the help of Drop.io's Outlook plug-in, you can now send larger files up to 100MB directly from Outlook. If you insist more size then you can upgrade to their professional account.

Here is a step-by-step procedure to use the plug-in:
1. Download the Outlook plug-in and install it.



2. To test the plug-in, Open your Outlook and create a New Email.
3. From the toolbar menu click "Attach Files with drop.io" button to add attachments.



4. Hit the Send button to fire out your email.

Your recipient will receive an email that look like this.



The download link will redirect them to a page where they can either view the file online or download it.

For this article, I tested it on Outlook 2007 under Windows 7 machine.
