Count The Number of Words In a Document

Here is my first post for the year 2010. There are times that we need to count a certain word inside a document and manually counting is a dumb way to go. Ofcourse you can create a macro to do it automatically or you can download a free software instead to save you some time. Word Frequency Counter is an opensource app that calculates how many times a word appears in a document and in a list of given documents.

Here are the features of this great tool.
- The user may specify whether letter case will be ignored.
- The user may specify a list of stopwords to be omitted.
- Data can be copied either as plain text or as HTML and MS Office Excel format.

This app requires .NET Framework 4.0 and works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows.
