The upgrade to Windows 7 comes with more security enhancements and the most noticeably feature is the permission denied error on folders or files that you don't have rights to access. For you to access these system folder/files, you have to take the ownership. By default, Windows allows you to take ownership but the process is too tedious. To make it easier, you can download and install
Take Ownership Shell Extension. This app provides you Take Ownership option in the Windows Explorer right-click context menu.

Take Ownership is light and portable app that you can bring along with your USB stick. Aside from Windows 7, it also supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 2003/2008 Server.
